What is the difference between soft tissue massage and sports massage?
Soft tissue massage is for general muscle health, relaxation, and reducing tension, using gentler techniques suitable for anyone. Sports massage, however, is more intense, aimed at athletes to prevent or treat injuries, enhance performance, and aid recovery. It focuses on specific muscles related to sports activities, with deeper pressure and targeted techniques.
In short, soft tissue massage is for relaxation and wellness, while sports massage is for athletic performance and recovery. Rachel uses a combination of techniques for the best possible outcome for you.
